Lt. William D Lebo was a Lebanon City Police officer for 40 years. Tragically, he lost his life on March 31, 2022, while responding to a domestic dispute call.  He was killed 30 days prior to his anticipated day of retirement. Bill ethically served his community with honor, pride and integrity, and he truly loved the community he served. To keep his memory alive and to continue serving the community he loved, The William D Lebo Memorial Foundation is opening applications for continuing education scholarships.

Qualified applicants must reside in Lebanon County, be employed or retired First Responders or a child of a First Responder, and have been accepted or enrolled in a continuing education program. Continuing education is college, technical school, professional education, or any approved certificate program.  First responders include police, sheriff department, EMS, fire department, correctional officers, probation/parole, and emergency dispatchers.

Scholarships are a one-time offering, and amounts up to $5,000 will be determined following evaluation of applications following the deadline.
